Steven J. Robertson, 59, of Arvonia passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at University of Virginia Hospital.

Steve was born December 14, 1956 in Farmville. Steve is a retired electrician and was active in his church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and most of all a friend.
 

Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Mildred Robertson and his brother, Eddie Robertson.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Robertson; his children Tina Simmers and her husband, Robert Simmers, Quinten Allen, Desiree Allen, Faith Robertson, and Cody Robertson; two sisters, Doris May and her husband, John (Rusty) May and Iris Pillois and her husband, Anthony Pillois; four grandchildren, Brandon Simmers, Hope Simmers, Nathan Simmers and Penelope Tarasidis;  and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the Buckingham Baptist Church Cemetery followed by a short Memorial Service at Buckingham Baptist Church, New Canton, VA.
