Bill Terrell was a very special person. Words cannot begin to express what he has meant to me through the years. He has always been a dear friend to me and my family ever since I was a little boy. My family and I have always had great affection for Bill and his family. I have always respected, admired and considered Bill to be all the things that a true gentleman should be. I have been blessed by his friendship and I love him like a brother.

I am so fortunate to have had Mr. Terrell, Martha and John as my neighbors. Mr. Terrell was such a gentleman and kind soul. He and my late husband enjoyed talking about and cheering for VA Tech where they both attended. I know Mr. Terrell will be missed by all who knew him!

We have lost a true southern gentleman. The Westvaco family will always remember Bill as a person that represented the company with great respect and integrity. We all learned life long lessons from him. His positive influence will carry on long after his passing.

Martha, Layne, John and to all the rest of the family, our hearts are heavy with the loss of William. We will miss his laughter and sharp wit. I truly enjoyed the times spent talking about world affairs and of my continued travels around the world. He was special to Gracie and she truly enjoyed going to see her "Grandpa" to give him a hug. Our world is a little less bright but Heaven has received him and shines more brightly with his presence. God Bless you "Wild Bill" (a term of endearment we shared together) and I will see you on the otherside!
