I first met Roger in 1990 when I started working at Kyanite. The first impression is that he called it as he saw it and wouldn't ask you to do anything that he wouldn't do. In that time, Roger took the snack and lunch breaks with the men that he managed( I worked with him from time to time). I enjoyed his humor and it was a treat to sit with Roger and the others as they talked about rabbit hunting and the old days. Roger was a good man and he will be missed by many. Heaven has definitely gained a good person and he will always be remembered .

I am so sorry about the passing of Roger. I know that he was a very special man, I me him when I was 15 yrs. old and he loved to pick on me and did so up tell the last time I saw him, (trust me, it was for over 40+ yrs.) He always had a smile on his face when he would meet anyone. He loved you so much and he loved hunting a great deal. It broke my heart to listen to him tell he was giving his hunt dogs away because he couldn't hunt any more. When I would come up the county I always ask about him and would catch up with him. He always called my aunt Blanche everyday and check on her and bring her veggie's from his garden. He was loved by a lot of people and will be truly miss. The bond that you shared with him will live on it your heart and memories. I am here for you if you need anything. love your favorite cousin, Debbie

So very sorry to learn of Roger's passing. Our deepest condolences to all of the family members. His Mom and Dad were great friends with my parents and I have fond memories of us growing up together.
