Please accept my condolences during this time of distress. While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear Alan, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, naturally you will reflect on seemingly small, yet precious memories. By so doing, take comfort in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too. But unlike us, only God has the ability to restore perfect life on earth to those in his memory, as he has kindly demonstrated in the past. God is the hearer of prayer and he will comfort you in the days ahead as you remember Alan.
