Virginia Hudgins Boyles, passed away peacefully in her home on 26, September 2020 in Cumberland, Va. She was born 27, September 1932 in Buckingham Co., Va to the late Pauline Harlow and Lee Andrew Hudgins.
She worked in construction, as a bookkeeper for many years. She enjoyed collecting everything, especially family history at family reunions. She was not just a bookkeeper for her families construction company, she was a keeper of family history and her families memories. She was gracious to all that entered her life and her home, you didn’t have to be blood to be family. She was a giver, if she knew your birthday, anniversary, or if you were ill you were sure to receive a card. She was a caregiver to many and always wanted everyone to be fed. Virginia was a woman of confidence, class, honesty, and beauty and was respected by many. Virginia, aka, Mama, Nanny, Gin, will always be in her family and friends hearts and memories.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James F Boyles, a daughter, Debbie B Allen, a son, Ronald F Boyles, two grandsons, Jamie Allen and Jimmy Boyles, a step-grandson, Jay Dodson, two great granddaughters, Mia and Megan Boyles, two infant brothers, and one brother, Robert Lee Huggins.
She is survived by son Michael W Boyles, son-in-law, Dennis J Allen, both of Cumberland and son, James Larry (Mericia) Boyles of Dillwyn, ten grandchildren, Pamela B Ownby, Nicole B (George) Dickson, Vernon L (Michelle) Boyles, Michelle V (Chris) Whitley, R. Eugene (Ida) Boyles, Jason Boyles, Amy A. (Todd) Hintz, Samantha B. (Denny) Lowe, Daniel E. (Deanna) Boyles, and Reva A. (Joshua) Moore. Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Tiffany Ownby, Ciera O. (Jesse) Warner, Desiree Nicole Jeter, Dakoda and Kaleb Boyles, Brittany Meadows, J.R, Austin, Dennis, and Isabella Lowe, Mercedes Dooley, Addison and Madalyn Boyles, Christina B. (Gordon) Clark, Hunter and Mason Whitley, Miranda Boyles, Joey and Alex Boyles, Savannah Dickson, Clayton Allen-Hamby, and Natalie Hintz. Also, step great-grandchildren Christina (Michael) Infante, Curtis and Kaylin Milliner, and Ashley Dodson. Special girls, Allie Ragland, Casey Moseley, and Allie Ownby. Great-great-grandchildren, Heaven Meadows, Brianna Vernon, Everleigh Warner, Kayson Ayers, Kaden and Hayden Boyles.
