Shirley (Agee) Godsey

Shirley Agee Godsey, 86, of Dillwyn passed peacefully March 30, 2019.  She was born June 9, 1932 in Buckingham County, a daughter of the late Willie A. and Ruby Moss Agee.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Tom (Billy) Godsey.  She is survived by her daughter, Patsy G. Allen and husband, Charles; two grandsons, Marty Allen (Megan) and Brad Allen (Sarah, Griffin, Kaleigh and Tanner) three great-grandsons, Lance, Preston and Camden Allen and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, Jack Moss, Marshall Moss, Bobby Agee, Jeff Agee, Roger Agee, Charles Agee and Thomas (Tubby) Agee and sisters, Doris Bulheller, Margaret Talbott and Jennie Shumaker.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 2 p.m.
