Shelby Shumaker Dunkum

Shelby Shumaker Dunkum, 83, of New Canton passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Centra Southside Hospital, surrounded by loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Dunkum and brother, Bill Shumaker.

Shelby was an active member of the Arvonia Methodist Church for many years and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Arvonia Fire Department.

Shelby is survived by her two daughters, Vickie Dunkum Kaminsky and husband, Kurt and Cindy Dunkum Crum and husband, Lenny; her two sons, Bobby Dunkum, Jr. and wife, Susie and Brad Dunkum and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Adam, Dustin, Molly and Lauren Kaminsky, Chris and Kristi Crum, Shelby and Kevin Kloeber, Nikki Crum, Ashley Dunkum and Alyssa and Matthew Dunkum; great-grandchildren, Donavan Kloeber, Danica Crum and Daniel, Maggie and James Kaminsky and her sister, Sandra Shumaker Harsey.

Shelby was a loving wife, Mom, Nanny and Great-Nanny and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home.
