Roger Lee Craft

Roger Lee Craft, 76, of Buckingham passed March 24, 2022.  Roger was born November 27, 1945 in Roanoke, a son of the late Frank George Craft and Sadie Bell Gregory Craft.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Siney Ann Wooten Craft.

Roger served in the U. S. Army with Honors and then went on work for the Virginia Department of Transportation for 29 years and retired a supervisor.  He also volunteered with the Buckingham County Volunteer Rescue Squad.  Roger loved watching his western shows and movies, cars and his cats.

Roger is survived by sister, Gladys Goldstein of Roanoke; brother, Frank Arthur Craft and wife, Mary, of Augusta, Georgia; his nieces and caretakers, Pamela Sibert and Candace Dowse; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Mulberry Grove Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.  Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the cemetery.
