Richard Dean Tuttle went home to be with the Lord and attend Heaven’s Sunday Service February 6 2022, Sunday morning.
Richard served the Lord in a variety of creative ways throughout his life. From driving delivery trucks to managing retail sales to Lead Pastor of Jones Chapel Church in Cumberland, Virginia and other churches throughout North Carolina. He was a supportive father of three and loving husband to the love of his life, Michelle Tuttle; a love found and bound in matrimony at Woodbine Baptist Church in Mayodan, North Carolina. In every action, conversation, and adventure Richard was sure to share the Good News of the Gospel; taking every opportunity to point others to Christ and His redeeming love and mercy. Richard Dean Tuttle is the son of the late Harold and Jean Tuttle.
Richard is survived by his wife, Michelle Tuttle and their three children, Caleb Tuttle and his wife Alicia, Gloria Tuttle, and Mark Tuttle. He is also survived by his sister Penny Glenn and her husband, Joey and their children, Ryan Glenn and Tristian Glenn and great-nephew Asher Glenn.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers; please consider making a contribution to the Jones Chapel Baptist Church Building Fund.
