Peggy Hardiman Carter

Peggy Hardiman Carter, 88, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025. She was born on October 21, 1936 to the late William E. and Caroline Hardiman.

She is survived by her sons Brad Carter (Jocelyn), Edward Carter, Brandon Carter, Bevan Carter (Natalie); daughter Emlyn Gendron; and grandchildren Kellyn Davis (Brandon), Lilly Carter and Nathan Carter.

Peggy loved to paint and was a longtime member of the Fayetteville Art Guild. She loved spending time with family and going to the beach.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Betsy Pankey.

The funeral will be held at 12 noon at Dunkum Funeral Home in Dillwyn on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m.  Interment will follow in Dillwyn Town Cemetery.
