Norma Godlewski passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and the people she cared for throughout her life.
Norma was married to the love of her life, Michael Godlewski, for over 50 wonderful years. Together they built a full and beautiful life centered on faith, family, laughter, and the everyday moments that matter most. She was the proud mother of five children: Karen, Michael, Kathleen, Matthew, and Benjamin, each of whom she loved deeply and fiercely.
Norma’s greatest joy was her family. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her endless pride and happiness. Whether she was offering encouragement, sharing stories, or simply being present, Norma had a way of making everyone feel seen, valued, and loved.
Norma was known for her gentle heart and giving spirit. She was truly one of the nicest people you could ever meet—often the first to offer help, comfort. Or a listening ear. Her caring nature extended beyond her home and into her many years in the nursing field, where she dedicated herself to helping others with compassion and dignity.
She also had a fun-loving side that those close to her will always remember, Norma loved cheering on the New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and she was even known to enjoy WWE back in its heyday. She also had a soft spot for her giant, fluffy dogs, who brought her so much comfort and companionship.
Norma was welcomed into Heaven by those who went before her: her beloved husband Michael, her parents, and her two brothers.
She is survived by her five children, her cherished grandchildren, and her adored great-grandchildren, who will carry her love forward and honor her memory always.
Norma will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
