Michael Wayne Boyles, 67 passed away on February 28, 2022. He was born September 3, 1954 to James F. And Virginia H. Boyles in Farmville.
Mike’s favorite pastime was working. He was a bricklayer by trade and a fixer of all things broken. You could often find him tinkering on various things after coming home from a long day on the job. He loved spending time with his family and friends and considered them one of his greatest treasurers. Mike never met a stranger. He loved visiting and talking to people and made new friends everywhere he went. Coffee, traveling, gambling, collecting junk, and unique hats were just a few of his favorite things. Mike was also known for being the friend you could always count on to lend a helping hand, no matter the task. It was a very sad day when he quit breathing and he will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Virginia Boyles; brother, Ronald Boyles; sister, Deborah Allen and granddaughters, Megan and Mai Boyles
He is survived by his special friend of many years, Jan Varnier; his children, Vernon Boyles and wife, Michelle; Michelle “Peaches” Whitley and husband, Chris; Eugene Boyles and wife, Ida and Daniel Boyles and wife, Deana; ten grandchildren, Christina Clark (Gordon), Hunter and Mason Whitley, Addison and Madalyn Boyles, Miranda Boyles, Joey and Alex Boyles, Curtis and Kayelynn Milliner; great-grandson, Kay'son Ayers; brother Larry Boyles (Mericia); brother-in-law, Dennis Allen and many nieces and nephews that he dearly loved.
