Mary Lavelle (Leonard) Kelly

Mary Lavelle Leonard Kelly, 77, of Dillwyn passed peacefully surrounded by family on February 15, 2025.  Lavelle was born in Buckingham County on November 2, 1947, a daughter of the late Bernard and Virginia Leonard.

Lavelle enjoyed cooking, cross stitch needlework, and Word Search puzzles. But she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Lavelle is survived by two sons, Scott Kelly and wife, Lori and Keith Kelly and wife, Heather; grandchildren, Ashley Burnley (Ricky), Brandon Kelly (Leslie), Hunter Kelly, Taylor Kelly, Trevor Kelly (Grace), Hailey Kelly and Hadley Kelly; great-grandchildren, Logan, Callie and Christian Burnley, Anna and Audrey Kelly, Tristan Kelly.  She is also survived by siblings, Harry Leonard, Laura Sargent (Bryan), and Suziann Blankenship (Gary)

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by brothers, J.B. and John Leonard.
