Mary Louise (Crump) Amos

Mary Louise Crump Amos, 84, of Buckingham passed peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2024. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a retired seamstress of After 6 Formal Wear.

Mary was a daughter of the late Newton Claude Crump, Sr. and Lottie Vanderpool Crump.  She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, John Otis Amos; son, John Alan Amos; daughter, Janet Anne Amos and brother, Newton Claude Crump, Jr.

Mary is survived by daughter, Penny Melissa Amos, of Esmont; two granddaughters, Caitlyn Marie Amos and Christyn Alexis Amos, both of Christiansburg; two sisters, Linda C. Hurak of Clemmons, North Carolina and Shirley Arrington of Amelia.

The family will receive friends at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, Friday, March 29, 2024 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. then will proceed to the Buckingham Community Cemetery for a graveside service at 2:15 p.m.
