Malcolm Oliver Obituary

Malcolm Junius Oliver, 94, of Dillwyn, familiarly known as “Bug” or “Red”, died April 23, 2019.  He was born September 28, 1924 in Buckingham County, a son of the late Robert Aubrey and Mary Brock Oliver.  He was a retired employee of A. H. Robins, now known as Pfizer.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Rufus Oliver and a nephew, Robert Ray Oliver.    

He is survived by Kathy Huddleston Rondeau, of Palmyra,  whom he thought of like a daughter; godson, Benjamin Bennett of Nelson County and numerous cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Cedar Baptist Church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Rocky Mount United Methodist Church.
