Lucille R. Robertson

Lucille R. Robertson, 68, of Wingina passed away on December 8, 2021.  Lucille was born on April 16, 1953 in Wingina, Nelson County, to the late Luther and Ruby Robertson. 

Lucille retired in 2015 from Harris Teeter as a Deli/Bakery Manager after 25+ years of service, and was a lifetime member of Bethany United Methodist Church of Norwood.

She is survived by her two children, Dr. Tanya L. Mays and George “Chris” Mays; brother, Luther “Jack” Robertson and wife, Diana; sister, Carolyn R. Oates; nephew, Keith Robertson and wife, Page; grandson, Matthew Ramsey and great-granddaughter, Ellayna Ramsey.

In addition to her parents, Lucille was also preceded in death by  a sister, Mary R. Brown. 

Graveside service will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the Robertson Family Cemetery, Wingina.  Family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice or to Bethany United Methodist Church.
