Larry Lee Gough

Larry Lee Gough, 71, died February 26, 2018 in the comfort of his home. Larry was born September 7, 1946. He was a retired electrician with Virginia Power.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Randolph Tucker Gough and Margaret Moss Gough.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Peggy Newton Gough. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Sharon Gough Palmore and husband, Paul, of Dillwyn; Kimberly Gough Barton and husband, Scotty, of Wingina; four grandchildren, Austin Wade Palmore, Hannah Grace Palmore, John Revery “Jake” Barton, and Alivian Sage Barton; sisters Karen Gough Cobbs and husband, Joe, of Bedford; Susan Gough Yankes and husband, Ron, of Orlando, Florida; many nieces and nephews; daughter at heart, Janice Bersch; special caregiver, Sallie Pankey.

Visitation will be at Bethlehem Baptist Church on Friday, March 2 at 2 p.m.. with the funeral service to follow at 3 p.m..
