Kevin Scott Anderson

Kevin Scott “Andy” Anderson, 53, passed away on October 18, 2023 at Centra Southside Community Hospital in Farmville, surrounded by his wife and children. Kevin was born December 11, 1969 in Charlottesville.

Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Riley; stepfather, Al Riley, and stepsister, Sue Riley.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 32 years, Shannon Carroll Anderson; his children, Aaron Scott Anderson and Lauren Blake Anderson (Willie); his grandchildren, Colton Levi Anderson, Lacey May Anderson and Myranda Leigh Kidd.  He is also survived by his father, Ralph Anderson (Ann); sisters, Kim Conner and Karena Walters and numerous other family members.

Kevin loved the Dallas Cowboys and the UVA Cavaliers.  He loved listening to Elvis while swinging in the swing enjoying the sunshine.  Kevin worked for the Department of Corrections for 18 years as a Corrections Officer and with the K-9 unit. After DOC he drove a school bus for the Buckingham County Public Schools.

Kevin had a big heart, loved his kids and grandkids and will truly be missed.
