John Griffin Obituary
John Porter Griffin, 96, of Dillwyn, passed peacefully at his home on November 17, 2020. He was the widower of Ruth W. Griffin. John was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Dillwyn and a life member of Buckingham VFW Post 8446, having served in the USCG-Merchant Marine. John was an active member of many organizations, including the Dillwyn Lodge No. 315, A.F. & A.M.
John is survived by his son, John P. Griffin, Jr.; daughter, Jeanne G. Katz and many, many friends.
