James A. Taylor, 80, of Dillwyn died peacefully at home on Saturday, October 17, 2020. He was born December 3, 1939 in Buckingham County, a son of the late Willie Anderson Taylor and Mickie Newton Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Louise M. Taylor; daughter, Donna F. Baldwin and son L. C. Fair Jr.
Jimmy is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Rowlett Coffey; grandchildren, Amy Baldwin, Jamie Coffey and wife, Charlotte, Jacob Coffey and Justin Coffey; four great-grandchildren whom he adored, Max Anderson, Hadley Coffey, Nate Coffey and Nick Coffey ; brother, Raymond Taylor; four sisters, Carolyn Ayers, Grace Moss, Sue Hitt and Vickie Hughes and many other family and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 3 until 6 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Buckingham County Rescue Squad.
