Freddie Wayne Lusk

Freddie Wayne Lusk, born on January 14, 1955 at his home in Oceana, WV, passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 70.

Born to the late Loren and Juanita Lusk, Freddie was a father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Lusk.

He is survived by his daughters Rachel Allen (John Allen) and Jessica Jamerson (Jeffery Jamerson). He was a grandfather to Presten, Brayden, and Brooklyn Jamerson and Briar Allen.  

Freddie is also survived by his sister Vivian Patrick and brothers Frankie Lusk and Tony Lusk, along with many nieces and nephews.

He served in the Charlie Airborne 4th Battalion, 9th infantry 172nd Division of the United States Army for 3 years, 1974-1977.

Freddie loved spending time outdoors, especially when he was hunting or fishing. He had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh with his quick wit and easygoing personality. He will be remembered for his laughter, his love of the outdoors, and the kindness he showed to everyone around him.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Dunkum Funeral Home in Dillwyn, VA on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
