Ewell Alexander Morgan, age 82, of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Ewell was born August 5, 1939 in Andersonville, VA to Ernest and Mary Morgan.
Ewell had a wonderful childhood growing up with his brother, Bobby, and sister, Mary Noble, on the family farm in Andersonville, VA. He enjoyed the tight knit community in Buckingham County, Virginia, always surrounded by family. Ewell received his education at the University of Virginia and Longwood College.
Ewell was a caring and supportive husband. He thrived in his role as father - coaching, teaching, cheering on, and loving his boys. He excelled during his long career with Carolina Power and Light until the time of his retirement. In retirement, he enjoyed life! He had a passion for fun, golf, traveling, home improvement, landscaping projects as well as renovating the farmhouse that his father built.
Ewell was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, father-in-law, son-in-law, and brother-in-law. Throughout his life, he loved spending time with friends and family. His warm smile, that would light up a room, will be missed.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the Bethel UMC Cemetery.
