Evelyn Dean (Bryant) Savage

Evelyn Dean Bryant Savage, 78, of Wingina died July 22, 2025.  She was born January 13, 1947 in Buckingham County, the daughter of the late Matthew Raymond and Mattie Stinson Bryant. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hal Edison Savage and son, Adam W. Savage.

She is survived two children, Hal D. “Duke” and his wife, Shelia  and Michelle Shumaker and her husband, William; daughter in law Sabrina Savage;  sister, Linda Kraatz; four brothers, Buck, Buddy, Don and Mike Bryant;  four grandchildren, Brandon and Christopher Savage, Jessica  and Katelin Savage; two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Ethan.

 A funeral service will be held on July 26, 2025 at 11 a .m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, with interment in the Bryant Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
