Esther Ogle Bradbury

Esther O. Bradbury, 81, of Cumberland, departed from this life on November 21,
2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Ray and Agnes Speas Ogle;
her brother, Robert John Ogle; two sons, Earl Ray Dandridge, and Phillip Stephen
Dandridge; and grandson, Lance Earl Dandridge.
Esther worked for Cumberland County. Her early years were spent in the
Treasurer’s Office, then the School System in several positions, though her
tenure was as a bus driver for 32 years. She was a supportive mother and an
active coach for her youth’s Baseball teams.
She is survived by her loving husband, Floyd Gene Bradbury; five sons, William
Snead Dandridge, Jr. (Kim), John Dallas Dandridge (Amy); Ronald Gene Bradbury,
Keith Allen Bradbury (Dawn), and Damon Monroe Bradbury; 14 grandchildren and
24 great-grandchildren. She will continue to be treasured in the hearts and
memories of her family, friends, and former co-workers.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 25th at 11 a.m. at Jones
Chapel Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will
receive friends for visitation at 10 a.m., for one hour before services commence.
