Edna Suebell Dempsey

Edna Suebell Dempsey, 81, of Dillwyn, passed peacefully on April 5, 2026.  Edna was a faithful caregiver for many years for the late Bessie Ragland and late Helen Ragland Mika. Edna relocated to Heritage Hall in Dillwyn in 2021.  There she enjoyed the remaining days of her life spent with new friends, activities and celebrations.  Reese and Mary Carroll would like to thank the Heritage Hall residents, staff, and visitors for the joy you brought to Edna. Also, the members of Mulberry Grove Baptist Church for everything they did for Edna.  She was a simple woman who enjoyed the simple delights of life.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 11 a.m. in the Mulberry Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  Pastor Austin Williams will officiate.
