Demita is survived by her husband of 26 years, Robert “Robbie” Jackson; her loving daughter, Meagan Miller of Buckingham; her stepchildren, Bethany and Lee Jackson of Tennessee; and her cherished grandchildren, Amiyah and Alijah Miller, who were the light of her life; and her godchild, Grayson Allen.
She is also survived by her siblings: Connie Rice (Bill) of Schuyler; Bill Kingrea (Chris) of Charlottesville; Pete Kingrea (Donna) of Scottsville; and Charlie Kingrea (Jennifer) of Scottsville. She shared a special bond with her many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly, especially her niece Heather Morris and her children, Paisley and Kaleb.
Demita found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved playing bingo and rarely missed Friday nights at Lake Monticello FD with her sister. She enjoyed riding the roads, spending time with loved ones, and had a deep affection for animals. Her greatest joy was her family.
She will be remembered for her loving spirit, her laughter, and the care she showed to everyone who knew her, including her Fast Mart crew and dear friends Carolyn and John.
Demita’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
