Della Denson Horne

Della Denson Horne, 72, of Buckingham passed peacefully on July 9, 2024.  She was born September 1, 1951 in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late Agee Otha “Buddy” Denson and Violet Mildred Austin Denson Lynch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Earl Horne and son-in-law, Youssef Aly.

Della was always so full of life. She enjoyed going to yards ales on Saturdays, beach vacations with her grandkids, and travels overseas to visit her son-in-law's family.   Della spent many years working at Craddock Terry Shoe Factory and later at Nicholas Supermarket alongside her husband, Charles.  In 2018 and 2020 Della was blessed with two great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Della is survived by her daughter, Sharon P. Aly; two granddaughters, Suzanne B. Morgan and Nadia R. Aly; two great-grandsons, Cameron Y. Morgan and Charles W. Morgan, and sister-in-law, Thelma Horne Bennett.

Celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
