Debbie Leonard Davis

Debbie Leonard Davis, 65, of Buckingham, passed peacefully with her husband holding her hand, on January 5, 2022.  Debbie was born September 20, 1956, a daughter of the late John Randolph and Alice Allen Leonard.  After graduating from Buckingham County High School Debbie attended Hollywood Beauty School and joined her sister and best friend, Faye, in January 1977 in serving the clients at Faye’s Beauty Salon.   An active member of Mulberry Grove Baptist Church, she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and knitted and crocheted with the members of Servant Hands.  Debbie loved to travel, especially to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, flower arranging, spending time chatting with her customers but most of all, she loved her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Darrell W. Davis; sister, Faye L. Spurlock and husband Willard; niece, Rebecca Tyler and husband, Ryan and their  children Erin and Lucy and niece, Tamara Green and her husband, Jon and their children, Chelsie, Alexis, Wesley, Andrew and Kenneth and their families; sister-in-law Pearl Leonard and her many friends and devoted customers.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, David Leonard.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Mulberry Grove Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
