David Wayne (Deuce) Ripley, Jr.

David Wayne Ripley, Jr. born on July 7, 2005, left this world entirely too soon on October 16, 2023.  He was a true sour patch kid, always saying exactly what was on his mind, whether it was appropriate or not.  He'd then follow it with a grin and a hug to make up for it.  He loved his family (his mom the most), the Xbox, trucks in the mud, mule rides, salad, and mozzarella sticks.  He was his extended family's first baby, and his Aunt Lauren's ride or die - as long as they were getting food and there wasn't too much walking involved.  

Deuce is survived by his mom, Brandi; his dad, David, Sr.; his Nonnie, Peggy Agee; his great grandparents, Wayne and Elois Woodard; his uncle, Mark Agee (Erin); his aunt, Lauren Bryant (Danny Ray); his first cousins, Cole and Peyton Bryant; his great aunt Ina Betts (Richard); great aunt, Llew Anderson (Raymond); great uncle, Doug Childress; great aunt, Kimberly Agee (Linda); great uncle, Gary Agee (Margie); and many second and third cousins.  He is preceded in death (and welcomed with open arms at the gates of Heaven) by his papa, William Agee, Jr.; his great grandfather, William Agee, Sr.; and his great grandparents, Freeman and Myrtie Childress. 

We'll tell his stories forever with smiles on our faces and love in our hearts.  We hope you have as many mud trucks as Heaven can hold and you get to drive them all.  Say hi to Papa for us.  Rest easy, our Swedish Meatball.  We'll love you forever. 

Visitation will be held at the Union Baptist Church facility (1010 Union Church Road, Gladstone, Virginia) on Wednesday, October 18th from 6pm-8pm.  The funeral will be held at the same location on Thursday, October 19th at 11am.  Lunch will follow.
