David Ray Brown, 63, of Buckingham passed suddenly on May 13, 2024. He was born February 23, 1961 in Washington D.C., a son of Lester G. Brown and the late Arline Sears Brown. He was the husband of Rebecca Evans Brown.
David loved the outdoors and whatever he could do to stay outside. He had a natural ability to create/construct something “special” out of very little and always took pride in doing it. His expertise was in construction and auto body. He believed in his own ability and could do just about anything! David also enjoyed playing golf and pitching horseshoes. David was a loyal friend and lived a simple life with his wife of 16 years, Rebecca. He was a loving son, brother, and father. His happy go lucky nature and smile will be forever in our hearts.
In addition to his father and wife, he is also survived by his son, Joshua Golden Brown and daughter, Randi Brown; granddaughter, Kallie Adkins; step-children, Wesley Evans, Jennifer Pearce, Alex Spradlin and Kate Walker; sister, Connie Brown Tibbs (Gary); brother, Steven Brown (Sandra); best friend, Steve McFadden (Vickie); nieces, Patricia T. Dale, Ginger T. Allen, Fallone Brown and nephew, Steven “Bucky” Brown.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 4 p.m. at Goshen Baptist Church.
