Daisy Huddleston Taylor

Daisy Mae Huddleston Taylor, 89, of Dillwyn passed peacefully on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.  She was born April 13, 1936 in Buckingham County, a daughter of the late Garland and Mary Trent Huddleston. 

In addition to her parents, Daisy was preceded in death, by her husbands, Rees Jeff Huddleston and Harry Junior Taylor; daughter, Penny Taylor and brother, Robert Huddleston.

Daisy is survived by daughter, Susan Companion; son, Gary Huddleston; sister, Shirley Seal; five grandchildren, Bradley, April, Amanda, Nicole, Don Jr., and Stella; 12 great-grandchildren; five great, great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 2 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, with interment in the Salem Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
