Christine Elizabeth (Thompson) Huskey

Christine Thompson Huskey, 86 of Spotsylvania and formerly of Dillwyn, died unexpectedly on August 17, 2022.  She was born on January 18, 1936 in Appomattox, a daughter of the late Joseph Warren Thompson and Pauline Gobble Thompson.  Christine was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Carl “Karo” Huskey.

She is survived by her son, Carl Warren Huskey and his wife, Patricia; her brother, Everett Thompson and his wife, Gail; two granddaughters, Melissa Ann Buckley and her husband, JJ and Theresa Ann Scogin and her husband, Billy; three great grandchildren, Britni Paige Garrett, Mackenzie Ann Buckley and John Joseph Buckley, III and many extended family and friends.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 11 a.m. in Jones Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
