Charles Ray Yates

Charles Ray Yates,  81, of Dillwyn, died March 12, 2020 at his home.  He was born May 14, 1938 in Winters, Texas the son of the late Willis Jackson Yates and Ola Egger Yates.  He is survived by his wife, Margaret Baird Yates; two daughters,  Sharon Cagle and Gina Wells; two grandchildren, Casey Cagle and Jaylee Wells; and a great-grandson, Elijah; and Margaret Yates’ son, Bob Hanes, and his wife, Kim, and their children, Noah and Jackson Hanes.  Graveside Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Saint Andrews Baptist Church Cemetery, 2532 Saint Andrews Road, Dillwyn, VA.  Memorial contributions may be made to Centra Hospice, 1705 E. Third Street, Farmville, VA 23901.
