Charles Russell Taylor

Charles Russell Taylor, 55, of Prospect passed away Wednesday evening, January 1, 2025 in his home.

Born in Charlottesville, Charles was the son of the late Acey Woodrow Taylor, Sr.  and Mary Nicholas Davis Taylor Maxey.  Formerly a carpenter, Charles had been disabled for the past few years due to a long time battle with cancer.  

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Acey Woodrow Taylor, Jr. and sister, Anna Taylor Gunter.

He is survived by his sisters: Edna Taylor Baldwin of Dillwyn, and Mary Beth Taylor Williams of Centenary.
