Chad Steven Given, 33, of Dillwyn, unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 20, 2020. Chad was born March 30, 1987 in Webster Springs, West Virginia, a son of Penny Cochran and Gregg Given. Chad was the father of two sons, Chad Steven Given II and Gunnar Taylor Given.
Chad had a smile that could brighten a room. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, spending time with family and friends and playing a good tune on a guitar. Most of all Chad loved being “Daddy” to his boys.
Chad was a beloved employee of EZ Hauling and Repair and loved working there the past three years.
Chad is survived by his parents, Penny Cochran and Gregg Given; sons, Chad Steven Given II and Gunnar Taylor Given; grandmother, Lina Hamrick; sister; Staci Hall and her husband, Sam; brother, Bucky McCourt and many family and friends who loved him dearly.
Chad was preceded in death by, cousin, Trenton Clutter and step-father, Buck McCourt Jr.
