Carl Lee Kidd

Carl Lee Kidd, 68, of Dillwyn, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 1, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Kidd and Virginia Stanton Kidd.  Also preceding him in death was his longtime companion, Doris M. Chambers.

Carl accepted Christ at an early age.

Carl enjoyed time spent with his family and friends, especially playing cards and watching professional wrestling with his nephew, Myron

He is survived by his sister, Mary Kidd and nephew, Myron Kidd; his aunts, Eva White and her husband, George and Blanche Braxton; grandchildren, Martika Kimbrough, Rakeem Tutwyler and Marquese Chambers; great-grandchildren, Reginae Kimbrough, Jaden Tutwyler and Blessyn Chambers.  He is also survived by a host of friends and relatives.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Joe Chambers officiating.
