He spent 11 months in Korea and was on the radio when President Eisenhower signed the treaty. From Korea he was stationed in San Diego and San Francisco and got an honorable discharge.

After returning back to Virginia he worked for Cumberland County as the building inspector.  He was a faithful husband, brother and a beloved uncle.

He married the late Betty Dunn Waycaster in July 1955 in Fluvanna.

He is survived by his beloved nieces Terri England, Bethany Reeves (James Tyler) whom took care of him.

He is survived by his brother Ted Waycaster (Ruth) of Dillwyn, sister in law Carolyn England, of Dillwyn.  He had many nieces and nephews whom he loved, Kenny England (Stacy) Steve Dunn (Liz) Judy Ownby, Carol Ownby and Ryan Whaley (April).
