Beulah Forbes Meek

Beulah Forbes Meek, 84, of Dillwyn, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 23, 2020. Born on March 25, 1935 in Buckingham County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Charles Thomas Forbes and Esther Tolbert Forbes.

On November 25, 1956, she married the love of her life, John Robert Meek, Jr. Together they were blessed with three children and four grandchildren. 

She is survived by son, Chuck Meek (Julia); daughter, Susan Moore (William); grandchildren, John Tyler Moore, Morgan Meek (Nicole), Rachel Meek Herndon (Dustin), and Joshua Meek; beloved sister, Audrey Mann and many dearly-loved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter, Brenda Gayle Meek

Funeral services will be held on February 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.
