On Friday, May 3, 2024, the Lord called home one of his angels, Barbara Jean Glover, from
Henrico Doctors Hospital in Henrico, VA. She was born July 24,1961 to Andrew and Lelia B.
Jones in Prince Edward County, VA. She received her education in Buckingham County Public
Schools.
Barbara was a devoted member of Fork Union Baptist Church and Full Life Fellowship
Ministries. Barbara was best known for her creativity to design, create, or bring to life any
project you had in mind. She also worked custodian at Dillwyn Elementary School, secretary at
Dillwyn Elementary School, and long time substitute for many years.
On June 19, 1986, Barbara married Franklin E. Glover Sr., who loved her dearly until his
passing in 2004. To this union three children where born. She also raised a brother as her own.
Barbara was proceeded in death by her husband Franklin E Glover Sr., her parents, and in
laws.
She leaves to cherish her memory: four loving children, Franklin “Pepe” Glover Jr. (Latriva
Glover) of Buckingham VA, Sh-Lelia Glover of Buckingham VA, Torie Glover (Douglas Faines III)
of Henrico VA, and a son/brother Andrew “AJ” Jones III of Buckingham VA, three brothers: Joe
Bolling of Richmond VA, Kenneth Jones (Late Frances Jones) of Buckingham VA and David
Jones (Leneta Lawing-Jones) of Buckingham VA, two sisters: Theresa Bolling of Detroit MI and
Celestine Torrence of North Carolina, eight grandchildren that she loved so deeply; Amare’,
Sa’Maya, Jordyn, Nasir (Jr), TaiLynn, Tatumn, Alayia, and Daxton. A host of nieces, nephews,
cousins, other relatives, and friends.
