Barbara Jean (Phelps) Davis

Barbara J. Davis, born Barbara Jean Phelps on December 28, 1944, passed away May 18, 2024. Even though she was 79 years old, her lifespan stood in contrast to her youthful spirit.

She is preceded in glory by her parents, oldest daughter, Debbie and her siblings Carol and Larry.

Barbara is survived by, and her spirit lives on in her husband Butch Davis, her children Stacie Pierce and Stephen Hardy, her grandchildren; Kristopher Pierce, Shara Hetletvedt, Dustin Pierce, Andrew Pierce, Jordan Waybright, Joshua Hardy, Hailey Waybright, Elizabeth Tucker, & Jake Lindo.  Great Grandchildren; Konner, NataLee, Dominik, & Keira, and many other beloved.

Barbara was a special soul who is already deeply missed and eternally loved.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024 in the Browns Chapel Cemetery, 1711 Gravel Hill Road, Dillwyn.
