Anne Mills LeSueur

Anne Mills LeSueur, age 82, of Dillwyn, Virginia,

passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29th, 2023 at Heritage Hall of Dillwyn.

Anne is survived by her son, Joshua C. LeSueur, and wife, Brenda, of Catlett, Virginia, and a granddaughter, Lisa Yarbrough-Royston, and husband, Nathan, of Sperryville, Virginia.  Anne was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Frank James “Football” LeSueur.

For many years, Anne and her husband lived in Northern Virginia, where she worked as a receptionist to Dr. Grace Stonerock in Manassas, Virginia, and her husband, Football, worked as a dairy farmer.  Nearly two decades ago, Anne and Football retired to Buckingham County, Virginia, where they spent the remainder of their golden years enjoying quality time with family and friends.

Anne was an avid crafter over the years, crocheting numerous exquisite Afghans and creating beautiful hand-made Christmas ornaments that adorn countless Christmas trees of family and friends.  In addition, Anne thoroughly enjoyed genealogy work and taking on the role of her family historian.
