Angela Leigh (Midkiff) Sprouse

Angela Leigh Midkiff Sprouse, 51, of Cumberland, departed this life on February 28, 2025. God called our beloved mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend home. Angela is now in the arms of God.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Leigh Nuckols Scott; grandparents, Lewis T. Nuckols Jr. and Joyce Henshaw Nuckols; beloved cousin, Mark Allen Midkiff; and stepfather, Robert Ballowe.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Sprouse (Brittany); her daughter, Hannah Sprouse (Kenneth); stepson, Dustin Carroll; and three stepdaughters, April Long (Teddy), Tara Martin (Peter), and Rebecca Sprouse. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Alyssa Madden, Daliyah Sprouse, and Bruce Jones Jr.; nine step-grandchildren, Nathan, Tyler, Aiden, Maddie, Ellie, Ashlyn, Peyton, Taylor, and Bryleigh; her father, Howard Dale Midkiff (Kathy); two sisters, Shannon Ballowe Fox (David) and Mary Phillips (Austin); and three brothers, Howard Dale Midkiff Jr. (Radha), Andrew Midkiff (Molly), and Justin Midkiff (Haley). She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on March 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Cedar Baptist Church, Dillwyn, with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on the same day at the church. Dunkum Funeral Home is serving the family
