Andrew Hall (Junior) Trent, Jr.

Andrew Hall Trent, Jr., 63, of Dillwyn, passed away on October 29, 2024. He was born January 18, 1961, a son of the late Andrew Hall Trent, Sr. and Fannie Janie Whorley Taylor.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Debra Ann Pembelton Trent

Andrew was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed barbequing chicken with his father, brother and cousins for many years.

Andrew is survived by his brother, Robert Allen Trent, Sr.; daughters, Melissa Ann Ladd (Doug) and Jennifer Lynn Newberry (Kevin); grandchildren, Karalyn, Madalyn, Addison and Scarlett; nieces and nephew, Tiffany Renee Schnabel (Stefan), Kristie Klement Williams (Austin), and Robert Allen Trent, Jr.; great-nieces and nephews, Caden, Payton, Rhyland, and Jaxson; devoted sister and brother-in-law, Donna Klement (Bobby) and several close cousins and extended family members.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn with interment in the Salem Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is very thankful for the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Mary’s Hospital and the Bon Air Community Hospice House of Richmond.
