Ricky Dean Fitzgerald

Ricky Dean Fitzgerald, 59, of New Canton died May 22, 2019.  He was born November 15, 1959, a son of the late Andrew and Virginia Fitzgerald.

He is survived by his loyal and loving life partner, Bernard Ryan; brothers, Andy (Becky), Earl (Linda), Gary and Sam Fitzgerald; sisters, Linda Duncan and Alice Davis; numerous nieces, nephews and his dog, Copper.

Ricky loved cooking, gardening and especially antiquing.  He and Bernie acquired many treasures over the years.

Ricky was preceded in death by brothers, John and Larry.

Funeral services will be held on May 25, 2019 at 1 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn with interment in Bethel Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Arrington.  The family will receive friends May 24th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
