Mary Ellen (Zakrewsky) Laird

, Mary Ellen Laird, 100 died Thursday, April 18 2019.

She was born March 26,1919 in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania, a Daughter of the late Paul and Maria Zakrewsky.

Prior to living at the Woodland for 10 years she lived in Cumberland for 32 years.

Her late husband was Joseph Robert Laird. They were married for 49 years before his passing.

Surviving are two sons, Ronald J. Laird and wife Irina of St. Lucie Florida ,Joseph R. Laird Jr. and wife Patsy of Shenandoah, Virginia and a daughter Bonnie Laird Vrettos and husband Nicholas of Williamsburg Virginia There are seven Grandchildren and eleven Great Grandchildren.

The visitation will be held on Saturday April 27 at 10:00 A.M. at Saint Theresa, Farmville.

Followed by the funeral Mass at 11:00A.M. The interment will be at the Nativity Catholic Cemetery,Buckingham at 2:00 P.M. That same day.
