Mary Frances (Hanes) Heath

Mary Frances Hanes Heath, 77, of Dillwyn, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. She was born on December 20, 1941 in Richmond, Virginia, a daughter of the late Elijah Ayers Hanes and Lucy Frances Apperson Hanes.

Mary Frances used her career as an LPN to share her deep compassion with all her patients. 

 In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert B. Hanes and two infant brothers.

She was the devoted and loving mother of daughter, Janet Heath (Robert Pinelli);  She is also survived by her siblings, Talmadge Hanes (Woody), Edward Hanes, Cornelia Hildebrand (Wayne), William Hanes, Rebecca Goodwin, Loretta Seay (Hamden)and Adrienne Temple; nieces, nephews , cousins and many friends.

 Funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 4 p.m. at White Hall United Methodist Church in Dillwyn with interment in Hanes Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
