Margaret Elise (Maggie) McCord

Margaret Elise “Maggie” McCord, 40, of Richmond, suddenly passed on May 28, 2019.  Maggie was a hair stylist, who loved her family, friends, Dallas Cowboys and Tinker Bell. Maggie was born July 19, 1978 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Gretchen Kearns McCord and David W. McCord.

In addition to her parents, Maggie is survived by her daughter, RaeAnna McCord; son, D’Anthony; two brothers, James McCord and David McCord; two sisters, Charity Hanna Arnold and Lee Anne Deboy and niece, Maiyah McCord and many other family members.

Maggie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Margaret E. McCord; grandfather, Donald E. McCord and aunt, Danna L. Sellers.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn with interment in the Dillwyn Town Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
