Joyce Kidd Smith

Joyce Kidd Smith, 72, departed to her Heavenly Home of August 30, 2019.  She left behind her loving husband of 49 years, Charles "Smitty" Smith of Wingina; a daughter and son-in-law, Monica and CD Williams of Wingina; a son and daughter-in-law, Lang and Krista Smith of Staunton; a sister and brother-in-law, Jenny and Larry Ledford; a sister-in-law, Linda Kidd, a sister and brother-in-law, John and Gloria Minges of Harrison, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Robert Smith of Sharonville, Ohio; five grandchildren, Alexis Williams, Christian Williams, Noah Smith, Mary Smith, and Langley Smith, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Joyce and Smitty were faithful members of Antioch Union Baptist Church for over 60 years.  She enjoyed shopping, reading, and sitting on her back deck with Smitty.  Most of all, Joyce loved being with her family. She will be remembered by her fighting spirit, her smile, and her love.

Joyce's life will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Antioch Union Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the interment.
