Helen (Dolan) Newton

Helen Dolan Newton, 76, of Buckingham, ended her long, courageous battle on June 2, 2018.  She was born January 9, 1942 to the late Al F. Dolan, Jr. and Helen Peay Dolan Murphy.  She was the widow on Henry Lewis Newton.

Helen is survived by her life partner Ronald “Jason” Fielder; son, Jeffrey Newton and  husband, Thomas Rohr; daughter, Cynthia Perkins; granddaughter, Brandy Ballowe; sisters, Audrey Wiseman and husband, Ronnie and Joyce Wiseman; brother, George Dolan and wife, Ann; brother-in-law, Irving Cobbs and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Janet Cobbs and brother-in-law, John Wiseman.

Funeral services will be held on June 6, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, with interment in the Buckingham Community Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on June 5, 2018 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home.
