Frank Douglas Carter, Sr.

Frank Douglas Carter, Sr., 55, of Gladstone, passed unexpectedly on October 20, 2019.  He was born May 9, 1964 in Norwood, a son of Hallie Cunningham Carter and the late Clifford A. Carter.  Frank was employed as a logger in the family business, Carter Logging.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Frank Douglas Carter, Jr. and Matthew Nathan Carter; two grandsons, Trey and Trevor Carter; three sisters, Pat Robertson, Betty Lou Peterson (Charlie) and Cindy Fagan (Tom); three brothers, James Carter (Brenda), Paul Carter (Cindy) and Michael Carter.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Clifford Carter, Jr. and David Lee Carter.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home with interment in the Scottsville Community Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
